Rage Against the Post

While surfing the intertubes at work today I came upon a tidbit correction that made me laugh. Yes, I know what you're thinking: just how many stupid things make you laugh? Well, that is a question that I could expound upon for many minutes, but I will only name a few here. Things that make me laugh include: fat people, mullets, old people that yell at stuffed animals, old people in general, the Twilight movies, feces and homeless people.

Now that I've revealed far too much about my personal life we are on to the correction from the Washington Post.
A Nov. 26 article in the District edition of Local Living incorrectly said a Public Enemy song declared 9/11 a joke. The song refers to 911, the emergency phone number.
And that's it. That's the correction. No name of the journalist or author who screwed up or anything. At this point a normal, unthinking, rational person would say, "Oh, that silly paper's gone and done it again! Shucks!" - as they sit down and enjoy their oat bran and bologna sandwich breakfast - and just let it be. But my friends, we all know that I am an abnormal, irrational thinking person who most certainly does not enjoy bologna sandwiches, and I will not sit by and let this travesty of journalism correct itself. I must correct it for Rage fans everywhere. De la Rocha must have his vengeance. Viva Morello!

--Correction--

After actually reading the quoted item above it has come to my knowledge that it was referring to a Public Enemy song - not a Rage Against the Machine song as I had assumed. Also after perusing through the Post's archives and many other great and valuable resources at my disposal, I have not found the original article. Sadness greets us with a heavy hand, and we weep at its behest.
