I hope that Melvin is not swayed by the news of Matt Holliday going to the retards down in St. Louis, and recklessly goes out and trades for a #1 SP like I warned against. I am a seer, mind you.
It is a lot to give up for 2 months of Holliday, but they may be able to resign him. They need someone to replace the legendary bat of Chris Duncan, do they not?
One thing I did not do was suggest a pitcher other than Halladay. I will do that. Toss it up between Doug Davis, Brian Bannister, Jarod Washburn and some other guy that I can't think of right now.
