ALERT: The Patriot List cont'd...

Oh yes, urgency is needed. Hence the Jackbeard. From this moment on urgent, alerty type posts will required to include the Jackbeard. If the post does not include Jackbeard, then it is not urgent. Got it? Good.

Of course, as most of us freedom loving, rugged individualists already know, Sarah Palin stepped down as governor of Alaska. I have read many articles claiming this is genius and many claiming this is stupid. And that she's stupid. And her kids are stupid, too. At the moment I don't really have an opinion on it. It seems like she's reason for genuine reasons like all the ethics complaints and such, but we cannot be sure.

Thusly, until further notice; or until she reveals to us that she will indeed be running in 2012, Sarah Palin is coming off the Patriots List. I know, I know... it pains me greatly to do this. This is like a decision to eat or to not eat at Culvers on a Saturday after eating there every single weekday. We have to make the wise choice, and let this Palin-burger(it's a triple patty w/ onions) digest for a while.

Note: *WE STILL LOVE SARAH, WE JUST NEED TO MAKE SURE OF WHAT SHE IS DOING* But for now it's time for someone else to assume her spot on the List while she wallows in obscurity for the time being.

1. John "Allotted Time" Boehner - For his tour de force performance on the House floor last week and for making Henry Waxman angry



2. Marco "The Hand" Rubio - For running against an establishment RINO like Charlie Crist and giving a big middle finger to the NRSC



3. Peter "Not My Kids" King - For calling out Michael Jackson idolizers and also for being good on national defense. But mostly for the MJ thing.



4. Thaddeus "In Jest" McCotter - For his appearances on the late-night show Red Eye that make me laugh. Also for his ability to play the guitar behind his back.
