MonsterQuest

OK, a few nights ago was the new episode of Baron and myself's favorite show: MonsterQuest.

Episode: Legend of the Hairy Beast

Preview:
Native American history is full of "Hairy Man" stories and cave art that date back over a thousand years. Did Native Americans know the truth behind the Bigfoot legend? An expedition along the Klamath River into reservation land will use state of the art technology to search for something locals don't doubt is real. With unprecedented access to Native American stories and recent sightings, MonsterQuest examines this creature that is both feared and revered.

Look. Baron and I love Bigfoot. We love Bigfoot. We love Bigfoot so much that we're going on an expedition to search for one of his Toddlerfoot youngins in the Pacific Northwest. This was one of the worst Bigfoot related shows I've seen. It was almost like an afternoon SciFi movie.

Most of the episode was terrible interviews with superstitious Indians. One claimed that he was one with the earth. Like a guardian of the forest. It was like a Canadian version of Ferngully... The most exciting part is when their boats hit some rocks. Oh my!

I know there will be an episode covering this later in the season, but: History Channel.. come on. You are sitting on ape DNA(so they claimed) recovered in Canada from an episode from last season. How can you not expand that into like 5 different sessions?!

I must say I am looking forward to the 'Prehistoric Cave Bear' episode.
