Gagne Gone for Good

After months of hibernation due to mundane college exams and such, Death has returned to amaze and enrapture all of who read of his awe-striking posts. With a single press of a button, Death can both amaze, move, and change the lives of many.

Today I would like to thank Ned Yost for finally recognizing the error of his ways. After like..15 blown saves Eric Gagne has finally been "relieved" of his closer duties. The only thing that makes me furious is the fact that Yost is trying to say that Gagne is "just tired" and needs a "break." NO! The guy played like crap and needs to be told that he is a no-good, has-been closer who USED to have the best save/blown save ratio in major league history. You know it's bad when fans wish they had Dave Bush out there closing instead of Eric Gagne.

I'd like to take this opportunity to bring back a fond memory of our favorite closer, Doug Jones. Doug Jones was a marvelous closer, and if you remember he had the most saves in one season for a Brewers closer before Francisco Cordero. He was a great man, to be revered by all not only for his smoking fastballs but also his glorious moustache. May his memory as a Brewers closer rest in piece.

However, despite Gagne's shortcomings I must say that Ryan Braun deserves the shout out today. Great game Ryan with a couple of home runs. Just so everyone knows I even wore a Brewers shirt to work and jeans today, even though I was supposed to wear a shirt and tie. You know, who's ever going to know? THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR MAKING ME WORK MOTHER'S DAY. I chose to stick it to the man by hacking into the internet and using a proxy to bypass websites as well so I could watch the game pitch-by-pitch. I am a great hacker, almost too amazing for my own good. Just like my Starcraft map hacks.

I will close today by giving my final PAT ON THE BACK to Benjamin Gauger and the Trinity Softball Team, who dominated much larger opponents to win the softball tournament. Ben looked like a future Pujols, but then again he does have the Thiesfeldt genes. Until later, RIP everyone, because you know when Death might strike, and your head my be hewn from its' perch.

  1. I think we all need different fonts.

    It would be more dramatic.
